About Us

WebPageAdvisor is a venture of JBS Partners founder Jim Spencer. Jim built his career in web design and internet consulting on a foundation of customer service excellence gained from working at a five-star resort in the Caribbean and a top-rated Boston mutual fund. He is excited about WebPageAdvisor as a new way of sharing his passion for people and the web.

Experience

In October 2002, Jim launched his first venture selling Internet solutions to small businesses. He helped solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations take their first steps on the Internet.

A year later he founded the Waterfield chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) in Winchester, Massachusetts, and then expanded it to about 25 members.  The group continues to meet without Jim in Woburn.

In 2004 Jim helped organize a local group of entrepreneurs in collaboration with the director of the Winchester Public Library.  “Networking @ the Library“, which meets monthly, now has over 100 members.

Connections

Actively involved in social media marketing since 2007 and well-connected to web designers, Jim attends the Cambridge SEO meetup, events hosted by SEMNE, and the Social Media Breakfast in Boston.
