Web Page Advisor is a venture of JBS Partners founder Jim Spencer. I built my career in web design and internet consulting on a foundation of customer service excellence gained from working at a five-star resort in the Caribbean and a top-rated Boston mutual fund. I am excited about Web Page Advisor as a new way of sharing my passion for people and the web.
In October 2002, I launched my first venture selling Internet solutions to small businesses. I helped solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profit organizations take their first steps on the Internet.
A year later I founded the Waterfield chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) in Winchester, Massachusetts, and then expanded it to about 25 members. The group continues to meet without me in Woburn.
In 2004 I helped organize a local group of entrepreneurs in collaboration with the director of the Winchester Public Library. “Networking @ the Library“, which meets monthly, now has over 100 members.
Launch Camp Boston was held at the Microsoft NERD center in Cambridge, MA. The day was devoted to offering entrepreneurs practical and effective ways to launch their new business. Here is my presentation .
I spoke at the eBusiness Symposium in Arlington, MA. This was the ideal venue for the audience to gain expert advice on using the Internet to expand market reach. Here is my slidedeck.
Actively involved in social media marketing since 2007 and well-connected to web designers, I enjoy attending the Cambridge SEO Meetup, events hosted by SEMNE, and the Social Media Breakfast in Boston.
